Healthy Lifestyle Prevent Obese Employees

Obesity or overweight  is a condition the addition of body fat based on the value of body mass index. This can occur because the calories/energy that goes into the body is not the same as issued.


According to General guidelines Balanced Nutrition, which belongs to the obesity is the body mass Index with (IMT) > 25.0. In 2008, obesity was cast as the cause of death of 2.8 million adults, and there are 300 million people in the world who are classified as obese.

In his contribution, obesity is a major risk factor of various diseases such as diabetes mellitus type 2, cardiovascular disease (heart attacks and coronary heart disease), dementia, hypertension, liver damage and so on.

Community groups that are at high risk against obesity one of them is the Community Office workers. In Indonesia alone, obesity increased from 12.2% in 2007 to 14.7% in 2010.

On Office workers, based on basic health Research (Riskesdas) is located on the first floor with the presentation of 24.4%. Kecenderangan a less healthy lifestyle such as consume food that is fast, and lack of sports to be the cause of the rise of obesity.

In an effort to prevent obesity, several approaches can be carried out, ranging from lifestyle, establish a healthy work environment, and making of rules/systems. Among the various ways to prevent, the alteration in lifestyle is the form most easily applied in the community. In prevention through lifestyle, only two main focus needs to be changed i.e. diet and physical activity.

Start learning to limit caloric intake through healthy menu. Due to activity in the Office are included in the activity of the light, then take the adequacy of calories for men is a 2,150-2,400 kcal/day and women's 1,650-1,800 kcal/day. In practice, establish a healthy menu is not difficult, the most important is to retain the concept of a healthy 4 5 perfectly, and limit the consumption of fatty foods, because most donated many fat calories.

A healthy Mengemil. Snacks, that's not what as long as healthy as fruit, nuts, yogurt, and because of the high protein and high-fiber triggers hormones that stimulate the sense of fullness for a long time.
Can then reproduce with drinking water which is useful as a substitute snack and also helps in maintaining concentration while working, reduce your intake of fat, high carbohydrate foods and stop because they are the main source of calories especially when a pops up the eating habits of eating light.

Don't forget eating together establishing a friend can reduce stress, so as to prevent the emergence of the eating habits of eating light.

And don't forget to exercise. According to the 2008 Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, there are two types of physical activity each week to improve your health that is way faster with exercise ability of the muscles, and jogging/running with workout muscle ability. For the road quickly, within the week required a total of 150 minutes, while for jogging/running, in a week it takes a total of 75 minutes. Both of these activities can be combined. And don't forget to physical exercise at least twice a week.
